By only our fault we are credit card poor. I would like to know if there are any reputable credit card debit reliefs that are legit. I see on ads about help to help ease credit card debt but I am skeptical about it. I want one that is legit and does not mess my life up after that.

These companies will mess up your credit.
They will collect money from you at first.
(this is their profit)
In the meantime they are making the credit card companies more likeable to settle.
The problem is – when you don’t pay credit cards the interest goes up, and the late fees multiply.
This ruins credit.
Most credit cards will not settle – this will ruin your credit.
Plus, ad many more costs to your bill.
Most reviews just with they would have paid thousands towards their credit card bills instead of making these greedy companies rich.
Do this yourself.
Go get a good book on credit and debt repair from your bookstore or library.
Or, there is a government approved non-profit agency.
National Foundation for Consumer Credit Councelling.
NFCC.org
They will not charge you anything for helping you.
The can contact your creditors and work out payment plans among many other things.
Reviews call them agels.
But again, this is common knowledge – all in books.

You are wise to be skeptical of any company that advertises that they can “relieve” you of your debt or cut your debt in half. They usually cause you, your bank account, and credit rating more harm than good.
The only reputable organization is the non profit credit counseling services: .

Realize that these ‘companies’ work to lower your payments (but you just pay it over a longer amount of time) but do not do so for free. They charge you for their services. Realize that they are not financial advisors and will not teach you to better budget your money or have you cut up your cards and live on a cash only basis. That you can do. You may be looking for a quick fix to your problems . . . sorry, but the best one is a pair of scissors.

credit card help
Some credit card debt consolidation companies and debt reduction programs are crap but their are some very good ones out there that provide a legitimate service.
Just because some car dealers are crooks doesn’t mean they all are. The key is to do some research and try to find positive reviews from customers that have used a particular company. (see below)
