how does a best buy credit card work?

1. Can i use it anywhere or just best buy?

2. Will it help raise my credit score if i use it (correctly of course)?

3. How does the interest free for 18 months work?

4. Am i guaranteed to get one if i apply?

5 What is the usual spending limit

I’m trying to build my credit score early and i figure since i want a new tv, computer, xbox360, etc that i could use a best buy credit card to buy these and build credit at the same time.

About two weeks ago I went to court and got a credit card judgment vacated. My problem is that my company has not received anything from the court releasing me and they are still deducting wages, in spite of the judgment being vacated. My question is how come this process is taking so long and can I recover these wages?

Hello. I have a credit card that is past due and over limit.. the amount i owe on it is about 1000$, i got a letter in the mail for a settlement offer where i would pay 448$ in 3 months and then my acct would close with a balance of 0$. I was wondering if this would be a good idea to take this settlement offer or if it would be better to just try and get it paid off? Thanks alot.

I am paying off my cards which are over 5 yrs old, and they’re giving me settlement amnts to pay them off. Most of the balance is late fees, my credit is slowly going up. Am I going to have problems in the future getting credit if they ve seen that even though I paid all my debt, I chose to make a stlmnt amount to close it? Anyone in similar boat?

My husband has a credit card debt with capital one from before we were married, after he had cancer he let it go with out my knowing, I know now and have taken over the bills, and now we owe 1500. My question do you think they will settle for less, what should I offer and how do I approach this. Thanks.

Please no rude answers, I know he should be the whole thing back but we are up to our eyeballs, 10,000+ in medical debt.

Is it a good idea to go with a debt settlement company? I know it will affect my credit score for the time being, but it will be affected either way because I can’t make the payments. I have ,000 total. 00 with my GM card, 00 with US Bank, and 00 with Regions. I just want to make sure that debt settlement is the way to go. There’s no way I can afford to pay the ,000. I also had a good realationship with my GM card we were always paying on time or paying in full with our tax money. But this past winter I had a baby and was on maternity leave for longer than required for reasons and my husband was laid off for 4 months so we had no income but some money in savings which didn’t last long. Please can someone help me?
